It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Samuel Lucian Taylor, who left us on Thursday, July 2nd, 2026, at the age of 26. Samuel was born on Friday, November 19th, 1999, in Macon, Georgia, and was a cherished resident of Roberta, Georgia.
Samuel was a compassionate soul whose vibrant spirit touched everyone he met. As a passionate artist, he spent much of his time drawing and coloring, finding tranquility on the water while fishing, and immersing himself in video games. Samuel's creativity and zest for life will always be remembered by his family and friends.
He attended Crawford County High School, where he reached the 10th grade. Samuel was employed as a cook and cashier at the Knoxville Store, where he was known for his dedication and friendly disposition.
Samuel is survived by his loving mother, Julie Taylor and father, Kenneth Taylor; grandmother, Nancy Taylor of Pennsylvania, his devoted brothers Daniel Hall, John Michael Taylor, Nick Taylor, and Ethan Taylor, and his adoring sisters Katie Pierce and Sophia Weekly. He is also remembered fondly by his uncle, Loye Roughton (Missy), and numerous cousins. Each will miss him dearly and hold his memory close to their hearts.
The family invites you to celebrate Samuel's life at a funeral service on Thursday, July 9th, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home in Macon, GA. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 8th, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., also at FairHaven Funeral Home.
