Ruth Meaders

Ruth Garrard Meaders, 89, of Macon went to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, January 9, 2016. Services to honor her life will be private.
Born in Sparta, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late William Thomas Garrard and Johnnie Mae Boyer Garrard. Ruth was of the Methodist faith and was a member of Cherokee Heights Methodist Church. She was Homemaker the majority of her life and truly made her house a home. She was always there for everyone in the family and will be missed by all who knew her.
She was greeted at the gates of heaven by her husband, Claud James Meaders, Daughter; Nancy Ruth Meaders, Brothers; William Thomas Garrard, John Henry Garrard and McDonald Garrard. Sisters; Bessie Gillespie and Dimples Peters. Left to cherish her memory is her loving grandson, Taylor Meaders as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Pine Pointe Hospice for the love and compassion they showed Ruth in her last days.
