Roy Meadows

Roy Lee Meadows, 68, of Lizella passed away peacefully, September 10, 2015 with his loving family and friends by his side. Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 14 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home with the Reverend Quinn Hammock officiating. Entombment will be immediately following in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 13 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home.
Roy was an avid poker player and loved to play Texas Holdem. When he wasn't playing cards he enjoyed riding his red Harley and was a lover of all motorcycles. But above everything he was an amazing husband, father, "Fat-da" and friend.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Karen Meadows, Children, Roy Meadows, Dustin Meadows, Shane Meadows, and Godchild Killian "Doodlebug" Parkinson. Mother in law, Shirley Hayslip, Sister in law, Connie Brown (Marvin), Carolyn Morrissey (Steve), nieces and nephews Patrick, Heather, Charles, And Abby. As well as a cousin, Sissy Kimsey. But Roy will be missed by all who knew him.
