Ronald Wright

Ronald Roy Wright, 80, of Macon, passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, April 22, 2023. The family will have a time of visitation on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home. Immediately following the service, Mr. Wright will be entombed in the Mausoleum at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Wright was born on September 22, 1942 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Robert Roy Wright and Louis McDowell Wright. He proudly served our country in the United States Army. Mr. Wright had a lengthy and impressive career with Flint Electric, that lasted well over 37 years. He held multiple positions before his retirement. In his younger years, Mr. Wright loved to camp with his brother and had a love for fishing all his life. He also had a interest in Genealogy. Mr. Wright was a simple man, who enjoyed simple things in life but was strait forward and always told it like it was.

Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Robert Wright and step son; David Shane Russell.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving family. His wife; Carolyn Wright. Children; Ronald Mark Wright, Audra Kim McGraw (Mac). Step sons; Steve Russell and Michael Russell (Missy). Grandchildren; Christian Wright, Brooke Wright, Kassidy Wright, Cody McDufie, Alexa Hicks, Allison Hicks, Brandie Meeks, Kimberly Rush, Ethan Miller, Sammie Russell and Lauren. Great grandchildren; October Cavanaugh, Betty Skye Rush and Savannah Meeks.
