Ronald Carroll

Ronald Wayne (Poppy ) Carroll, 67 , of Ormond Beach Florida passed away peacefully November 3, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Services will be held Friday November 7, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon. Mr. Alan Parker and Mr. Billy Gay will preside over the service. The family will greet friends from 2:00 P.M. until service time with a reception to follow immediately after the service. Burial will be private.
Ronnie retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad where he was employed for 28 years after proudly serving our country in the United States Army. He also worked part time at Daytona International Speedway. He had a special love for #24 Jeff Gordon & the Georgia Bulldogs.
His memory will forever be cherished by his loving wife of 44 years, Kay Carroll of Ormond Beach, Florida, three daughters, Stacie (Billy) Gay, Paige Carroll, and Shay (Tony) Allen. Four Grandchildren, Craig Carroll, Dani & Shelbie Gay, Sierra Allen. Several nieces and nephews as well as one brother. Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother, Lizzie Motes and one sister.
