Beloved husband and father Ronald Wayne Brasfield, 79, of Lizella, passed away on 31 July 2025 at Brightmoor Hospice Macon. A Memorial Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from 10 am until noon at Fairhaven Funeral Home on Mt. Pleasant Church Rd.
Mr. Brasfield was born on April 10, 1946, in Clarksville, Tennessee, to the late Mr. Thomas Cleveland Brasfield U.S. Army Retired and Mrs. Virginia Lee Pugh Brasfield. As part of a military family, he traveled the world and never met a stranger. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and served eighteen months in Guam.
Ron enjoyed classic cars, baseball, woodworking, and classical music.
Left to cherish Mr. Brasfield's memory are his wife of 56 years, Janice "Dawn" C. Brasfield; Amber E. Poulson (Keith). He will be missed by his fur babies Holmes and Moe and his grand fur babies Gabe and Orion.
Left to cherish his memory are his brother Gerry L. Brasfield (Mary) of Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, three nephews and two nieces, plus several great nephews and nieces.
