Macon, GA – Ronald "Keith" Beard, cherished husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 29th, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on Monday, December 12th, 1960, in Charleston, South Carolina, Ronald was a pillar of strength and compassion, known for his calm demeanor, generous spirit, and contagious laughter.
A devoted family man, Keith leaves behind his beloved wife of forty years, Teresa H. Beard; his son, Alex Beard, and his wife Brittany; his daughter, Deandra Davidson, and her wife Nikki. He was the adored grandfather of Everly, Aubree, and Greyson, and a treasured uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Keith is also survived by his supportive brothers, Tim Lovins and Jerry Beard, and his loving sisters, Denice Morgan and Becky Beard. He was predeceased by his parents, Ronald and Marie Beard.
Professionally, Keith was a dedicated Biomedical Technician at Draeger Medical, where his expertise and commitment were highly respected. Beyond his work, he found joy and camaraderie as a member of Peach Tree Baptist Church in Byron, GA. Keith’s pastimes included bass fishing, cheering on Georgia Football, celebrating the victories of the Atlanta Braves, and supporting the Kansas City Chiefs.
Keith was a man who delighted in life’s simple pleasures, from crafting with his skilled hands to sharing his sense of humor with loved ones. His patience and warmth left a lasting impact on all who had the fortune of knowing him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 4th, 2026, at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home in Macon, GA, officiated by Pastor Micah Carr. Friends and family are invited to share their memories and pay their respects to a man who touched so many lives.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Keith’s memory may be made to the Rescue Mission of Macon or Peach Tree Baptist Church, as he was passionate about supporting his community.
