Roline Marie McCarty

Roline Marie McCarty, age 73, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026. She was born on December 6, 1952, in Suriname, immigrated to the Netherlands and later made her home in the United States. Roline built a life centered on family, love, and dedication.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Danny McCarty, her loving children Susan Flore (daughter), Brian McCarty (son) and her precious grandchildren Jasmine and Nathan Flore. Roline is also survived by her cherished family members who will forever hold her memory close: Anne Sloot (sister), Hans and Harley Sloot (brothers); her beloved cousins and nieces/nephews, Krishita Sloot, Shima Sloot, Manolya Sloot, Patrick Sloot, Anil/Sunil Randjitsing, Lionel Sloot, Shamira Sloot, Cliff/Terry Sloot, Renate Sheombar, Steven Sewdien, Ine Sewdien, Romero Hart, Sylvia Sloot; Jennifer Hart (God Daughter); and beloved extended family Estella Mallard, Stephanie Butler, Amber Hall (GodDaughter), and Angel Hollomon.

Roline’s greatest joy was her family. She created a home filled with care, tradition, and togetherness, bridging her Dutch roots with her American life. Her kindness, strength, and loving spirit touched everyone around her and will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. Family and friends will gather for a service of remembrance at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
