Roland Lamar Norman, 78, of Byron, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021. A celebration of Mr. Norman's life will be held on Saturday, October 2, at 11:00 AM, at North Peach Park, Pavilion 1.
Mr. Norman was born on August 13, 1943, in Macon, Georgia. He was employed with 441 Union, where he worked as millwright. In his free time, Mr. Norman liked fishing, and playing pool and poker. He enjoyed watching westerns, especially anything staring John Wayne. Mr. Norman was kind and compassionate and had this indescribable ability to see the good in everybody and everything. He was the quintessential family man, nothing mattered to him more.
Left to cherish Mr. Norman's memory is his daughters, Amanda Bell (Robbie Forthman) and Tiffany Norman; son, Allen Norman; grandchildren, Kaleb Norman, Lillian Levenson, Sophia Levenson, Aaron Levenson, Jiren Forthman, Talia Forthman, and Banner Forthman; special relatives, Ellen Morgan and Earl Tribble (Cindy); and many extended family members.
