Roger Dale Peters, 63, of Macon, Georgia passed away on June 13, 2024. Funeral services to celebrate his life will be held 3 pm Monday June 17, 2024, at FairHaven Funeral Home 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Rd. Macon, GA 31216. With Pastor Richard Jacobs presiding. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services, and all are welcome to attend.
Mr. Peters "Dale" was born on July 11, 1960, in Macon, GA to the late Mr. Herbert Peters and Mrs. Geraldine Davis Soles. Dale was a family man through and through; he would do anything for his loved ones including dishing out tough love calling everyone a "Punk Sissy". When he wasn't with his family, he could be found playing poker or working on his Kubota Backhoe. He was strong and steadfast, threatening to break out to attend his granddaughter's graduation. He will be dearly missed by all that loved him.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry "smiley" Peters and Ronnie Peters.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 37 years Marie Adams Peters; son, Marion (Ashley) Brooks; daughters, Angela (Jason) Jackson, Coral (Matthew) Peters, Kirstie (Travis) Todd, and Wanda Delph; sister, Debby Peters; 12 Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandchild; and many nieces and nephews, who affectionately referred to him as "Uncle D".
