"Roger" Peacock

Mickey "Roger" Peacock Jr, 50 of Lizella, Georgia passed away Friday, March 2, 2023 at his residence. Born in Macon, Roger was the son of Mickey and Brenda Hamlin Peacock. He was a member of Fellowship Church in Lizella.
Roger was a 1990 graduate of Windsor Academy. Shortly after high school, he proudly served in the United States Navy and was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). Roger received his associate degree in 1999 from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton and later graduated from the Georgia Basic Law Enforcement Training Police Academy in 2004. He enjoyed playing softball, bull riding and barrel racing, and all things outdoors, especially hunting with his family.
He is survived by his parents, Mickey and Brenda Peacock, his brother and sister-in- law, Chad and Tonya Peacock, and a host of other family members.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Fellowship Church in Lizella. Burial will follow in the Georgia Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Milledgeville, Ga at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Bobby Hamlin and Pastor Ricky Tidwell will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Fairhaven Funeral Home.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made in Roger's memory to Fellowship Church (4967 Sandy Point Road, Lizella, GA) or Disabled American Veterans at DAV.org and selecting "Ways to Give" and then "Honorary & Memorial Gifts" and entering Roger's name as the honoree.
