Robert Steven Reich, 70, of Macon, Georgia passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024. A memorial service to honor his life will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service for a time of visitation.
Robert was born on January 22, 1954, in Macon, Georgia to the late Mr. Lawrence Arthur Reich and Mrs. Maurine Resseau. He was a driver for Yellow Cab and enjoyed the conversations and friendships he made. He was talented with his hands, and could fix anything he put his mind too, especially on cars. Robert was a free spirit that enjoyed listening to music and hanging out with his friends. He was a devoted pit master, and could truly cook anything you wanted, his fried chicken especially. Robert's sense of humor, contagious laugh and caring heart will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Ryals Reich; and nephew, Daniel Wiggins.
Left to cherish his memory is brother, Timothy Reich (Barbara); sister, Helen Wiggins; nephews, Mark Wiggins and Joseph Gregory; great niece, Abigail Wiggins; great nephew, Daniel Wiggins, II.; fur baby, Princess and a host of many cousins.
