Robert Joseph Meeks, 81, of Macon, Georgia passed away Monday, November 16, 2015. A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 1313 Briarcliff Circle from 3:00 p.m. till 6:00 p.m.
Born in Swainsboro, Georgia, he was the son of the late Gordon Howard Meeks and Ola Inez Minton Meeks. He was a retired carpenter with the Carpenters Local Union # 144. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the U.S. Army and attended St. Peter Claver Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Meeks; son, Scott Meeks and his wife Karen. Step-Son, Larry Prickett; Grandchildren, Ryan Meeks, and Amanda Meeks. Sister and Brother, Betty Hadden and Wayne Meeks. Faithful pet, Gypsy.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Methodist Home for Children and Youth, P.O. Box 2525, Macon, Georgia 31203.
