Robert Keen

Robert "Bobby" Charles Keen, age 85, of Byron, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022. A funeral service will be held at Porterfield Baptist Church on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at 11:00 am with Reverend Chris Dotson officiating. A visitation will be held Monday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Fairhaven Funeral Home.
Bobby was born in Macon, Georgia on Thursday, February 11, 1937, to the late George L. Keen and Mildred Tucker Keen. He worked as a mechanic for Armstrong World Industries and served as a faithful member and a Deacon for Porterfield Baptist Church. Bobby was a member of the Rutland Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite Bodies. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 52 years, Martha Wynne Keen; children, Sylvia Diane Murphy (Bobby), Robert M. Keen (Pam), George Edward Keen (Christy); sister, Martha Carter; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-great grandchildren; and his favorite furry companion, Suzy Q.
