Robert "Bob" Baker

Robert "Bob" Baker, 66, of Jones County, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, August 26, 2024. A funeral service to honor his life will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home. The family invites friends to join them one hour prior to the service for a time of visitation. Pastor Rick Tooley will officiate the service.
Bob was born in Macon, Georgia on October 19, 1957, to the late Mr. Donald Robert Baker and Mrs. Kathryn Baker. He was a simple man that enjoyed all things life had to offer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and enjoying the simplicity of the outdoors. You could always count on him to make you laugh, with one of his many jokes. Above all, his greatest joy was his family. He spent countless hours supporting them at the ballfield, watching westerns with them, and being a devoted father and PaPa. They were truly the light of Bob's life. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Andrew Baker.
Left to cherish the many memories with Bob is his loving wife of 30 years, Candy Baker; children, Malissa Smith (Alon), Da-Rae' Brown (Todd), Tiffany Baker (Sean), Alex Windham (Megan), Matthew Baker (Shelley), and Frances Vinson (Padriac); grandchildren, Brayden, Landen, Jase, Karsen, Lexi, Chloe, Peanut, Xander, Kadence, Tate, Dalton, Trevor, Whitney, Keaghan, Micheal, Krystal, Savanna, Tucker; and a great granddaughter, Sawyer Grace.
