Robert Arrington

Robert D. Arrington "Bobby", 71 of Lizella, Georgia, passed away peacefully after an extended illness on August 25, 2016 with his family by his side. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
Lt. Bobby Arrington retired from the Macon Police Department after 31 years of outstanding service. Bobby was also a homebuilder and owned Bobby Arrington Construction. He also served his country as a U.S. Navy veteran and was of the Baptist faith.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father, O.D. Arrington, and his mother, Jewell Arrington. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 21 years, Geneva Arrington, his children; Denise Powell, Tricia Wilson (Scott), Felicia Jordan and David Jordan. Six grandchildren; Trey Henderson, Forrest Williams, Tanner Garman, Max Wilson, Sophie Wilson and Cade Jordan. As well as his brothers, Wayne Arrington (Gail) & Danny Arrington. Several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bobby's honor to the Macon Fraternal Order of Police Sparky O'Cain Lodge #3.
