Robert Scott "Scoots" Abney passed away peacefully October 8, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Scoots was born on April 18, 1966 in Macon Georgia. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 12:00 noon at Union Chapel Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior.
His memory will forever be cherished by his five siblings, Robert Ray Darley, Henry Jasper Abney Jr., Tammy Lee Thorton, Beverly Dakon, and Pamela Rainey. He is also survived by his four children Regina B. Slay, Amber Abney, Rebecca Williams, and Wesley Davis as well as three grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Jasper Abney Sr., and Patricia Stokes Abney, One brother, Steven Wayne Abney, and Joy Anette Darley
