Marvin Robert "Robby" Cagle; 49, of Byron, Georgia passed away Monday, July 15, 2019. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 22, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home. Danny Bryant will officiate. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will have at time of visitation on Sunday, July 21, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. till 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
The soul of The man with a Heart of Gold and Hands of Steel departed to live with the Lord and reunite with his predeceased mother, Carol Oakley Cagle Phelps,granddaughter, Alia Brook Cagle, grandparents Joe and Mary Lois Dowdy Oakley, Roosevelt and Nell Lewis Cagle whom he missed so much. Robby had a superior intellect and mechanical genius. He absorbed knowledge like a sponge. He became a Life Member of the National Rifle Association as an avid gun collector and worked with gun shows as a dealer. With his varying interest he became a Licensed Home Inspector. Always cracking jokes, Robby enjoyed making people laugh and could always make light of a bad situation. Robby enjoyed working on cars, motorcycles, and computers. Using his mechanical aptitude, he built his own local business. Georgia Towing and Recovery Service of Warner Robins which he operated until his death. He leaves behind his Dad, Dr. Marv Cagle of Greenville, SC, a brother, Jody Cagle of St Simons, son Brook Cagle of Warner Robins, daughter Alexandra Christin Summer of Ware Shoals, SC. and his soon to be born granddaughter Kylie Jade Cagle.
