Ricky Mcdermon

Ricky D. McDermon, 60, of Macon, finished his life journey on December 26, 2016. Funeral Services to celebrate his life will be held Friday, December 30, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Rd, Macon with Pastor Robbie Shepherd officiating. Immediately following the service, Ricky will be laid to rest in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ricky was born December 11, 1956 in Macon, Georgia. He proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of Daystar Church of God. Ricky was the owner of Ricky-Hanley Music. His family and friends will remember him as being a kind hearted person, and always wanting to help someone.
Ricky is preceded in death by his father; Clarence Clifford McDermon and sisters; Debbie McDermon Tanner, and Kathy McDermon; as well as his nephew, Cliff McDermon.
He is survived by his mother; Gerri McDermon of Macon, Georgia. Sister; Sheila Walters and her husband Craig, of Doerun, Georgia; Two nephews; Travis Walters and Brandon Walters of Doerun, Georgia, as well as his Brother-in-law Rick Tanner of Macon.
