Richard Charles Watson Sr

Richard (Ricky) Charles Watson Sr., 71, gained his wings on 6/27/26 after a lengthy illness.

A welder by trade, he built a life centered on family and hard work. He could repair practically anything and loved the outdoors, hunting, camping at the lake, beach or mountains and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.

He will be remembered for his love of family, his quick and sometimes wicked sense of humor, his love of music – especially Eric Clapton - and Dr. Pepper.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lorene Mildred Watson and Walter Lee Watson and bonus son Kristopher Terrell.

He is survived by his son Richard (Rick) Watson Jr. and daughter in law Nicki Watson. His partner in life, Elaine Greene, and grandchildren Rick Watson, Jaiden Terrell, Brandi Hunnicutt, Brittney Ash and Courtney Howard and several great grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
