Richard Carlton Ussery, of Augusta, Georgia passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Richard was born in Macon, Georgia on January 18, 1980, to the late Mr. Carl Mitcham and Mrs. Pamela Ussery Harbin. He attended Windsor Academy, where he was an exceptional athlete. Ricky played baseball, football, and basketball. He went on to take up a skill in cabinetry, where he devoted his hard work to producing cabinets. Ricky was simple and enjoyed the simplicity of the outdoors; especially hunting while growing up. He and his uncle Ron spent a lot of time together. They would throw the ball together, cheer on his cousin at the softball fields, and create many memories together that will be cherished forever. Above all, his relationship with Christ was found recently when he was baptized on September 24, 2023, following his membership at Flowing Wells Church. He will be dearly missed by those that always loved him deeply.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by many of his family members.
Left to cherish his memory is his uncle, Ronald Ussery and a handful of other loving family members.
