Rhonda Faye White, lovingly known as Faye, 70, of Macon, Georgia, went to be with her Lord and Savior on the Lord’s Day, Sunday, February 15, 2026.
A funeral service to celebrate her beautiful life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at FairHaven Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, for a time of visitation. Immediately following the service, Faye will be laid to rest beside her first husband, SSG Paul Kirkus, Sr., at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pastor Ricky Tidwell will be officiating all services.
Faye was born on July 2, 1955, in Macon, Georgia, to Mrs. Bertha Lee Cravey and the late Mr. Rodney Thomas Cravey. From an early age, she was taught the value of faith, family, and devotion, qualities that defined her life. She was a faithful servant who loved her Jesus with all her heart and lived her life as a testimony to His goodness. Her faith was steady and unwavering, earning her the fitting description of having a “Steady Spirit.”
Faye’s greatest joy in life was her family. She loved deeply and selflessly, always putting the needs of others before her own. She would do anything for those she loved. Her home was a place of warmth, laughter, and welcome, especially when her family gathered. Nothing brought her more happiness than having her loved ones close by.
She had a special gift for baking and was known for her beautiful and delicious wedding cakes, birthday cakes, and treats for holidays and special occasions. Her creativity extended beyond the kitchen, she loved shopping for treasures, reselling vintage finds, decorating, and creating a home filled with beauty and comfort. Faye had a keen eye for home décor and a talent for turning ordinary things into something special.
Kind, dedicated, faithful, and strong, Faye lived a life marked by respect, obedience, and compassion. She was selfless in her service to others and always ready to lend a helping hand. Her joyful spirit, especially in the presence of family, was contagious and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her father and her first husband, SSG Paul Kirkus, Sr., she was preceded in death by her beloved grandchild, Tyler Kirkus.
Left to cherish her precious memory are her mother, Bertha Lee Cravey; her son, Paul (Arline) Kirkus; her brothers, Kenneth (Denise) Cravey and David Cravey; her granddaughter, Kailey (Kyle) Denny; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Kinsley Denny, Kaprii Denny, Kolton Denny, and Karlie Denny. She also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will continue to carry her memory in their hearts. Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we rejoice in the assurance that Faye is now at peace in the presence of her Savior. Her life was a blessing, her love a gift, and her memory a treasure that will live on in all who were blessed to know her.
