Raymond "Ray" Baldwin, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2021, after a brief illness.
Mr. Baldwin was born in Chicago, Illinois, on April 11, 1943. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Elizabeth Baldwin, and by his brothers, Richard Baldwin and James Baldwin.
Ray is survived by his loving wife, Martha Ivey Baldwin; children, Keith (Dawn) Baldwin and Koreen (Nick) Karmis; sister, Barbra Starnes; grandchildren, Amanda, Alexandra, Analisa, Karissa, Christopher, Amy, Katherine (Jeremy), Jacob, Daniel, and Michael; and great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Brantley, Eli, and Jacob, Jr.
Ray served in the U.S. Marine Corps, stationed at Okinawa, Japan, in the 1960's. He was top salesman at Riverside Ford in Macon before retiring in 2005. Ray loved traveling, camping, golfing, and fishing with his family. He enjoyed spending winter months in Florida with his sister. Ray brought joy and laughter into the lives of everyone that knew him.
A private service for immediate family only, will be held in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home.
