Raymond Andrews

Raymond Charlie Andrews, 82, of Byron, Georgia passed away Friday, May 20, 2016. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Trinity Baptist Church, Centerville, Ga. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Terry Hyman will officiate. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. in Fairhaven Funeral Home, Macon.
Born in Macon, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Julia Elmore Andrews. He was retired civil service from Robins Air Force Base, and a Korean War veteran serving on the USS Intrepid in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church and the Adult Sunday School Class.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Powell Andrews of Byron; Children, Letitia Andrews Taylor(Jeff) of North Augusta, South Carolina; Timothy Raymond Andrews (Anita) of Hermon, Maine; Brothers, Robert Andrews(Louise) of Albany, Ga.; Alex Andrews (Freda) of Macon. Four Grandchildren, Anna, Jonathan, Stephen, and Katherine.
