Ray D. Powell, 75, of Macon, Georgia passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Dry Branch. Earl Smith will officiate.
Born in Dublin, Georgia, he was the son of the late Carl Wall Powell and Alice Powell. He was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church and was a retired steel fabricator. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jo Ann Powell, Children, Kenneth Powell, Kevin Powell, Joanna Shea(David Ostrow), Brother, Ernest Powell(Judy), Sisters, Ann Ashley, and Sue Howard(Jack), Grandchildren, Devin Powell and Levi Powell.
