Randy Eugene Sutton, age 66, went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 1st, 2021. There will be a private graveside service on Friday, January 8th, 2021 at the Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Reverend Brian Everett officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Family request all to wear a mask and adhere to social distancing.
Randy was born in Thomasville, Georgia to Douglas E Sutton and the late Carolyn E. Sutton and was predeceased in death by his brother Mark Sutton. He worked for the Fire and Rescue Support Team a Non-Profit Organization. He was one of their top sales employee raising money to help the volunteer fire dept. to assist fire, rescue, and emergency services for firefighters. He was a member of the United Community Church.
Randy enlisted in the U. S. Army out of an an inherent desire for duty and service. Randy is survived by his father Douglas E Sutton of Macon, sisters Jan Wilder (Shannon) of Macon, Tammy Elliott (Mike) of Macon and Gail Lockhart (Keith) of Marietta, GA, sister in law Donna Sutton of Jacksonville, FL and his girlfriend Deborah Cox of Macon, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He found true pleasure by helping others and making them happy. His own happiness came by experiencing the small joys in life that most people overlook and take for granted. Randy cared about people in the purest way. He loved them for who they were and because he wished the best for them. He will always be remembered for his passion for God, country, and family.
