Rachel Deloise Collins, 75, of Fort Valley, Georgia passed away peacefully on Friday, March 28, 2025. A visitation to honor her life will be held on Wednesday, April 2, at Fairhaven Funeral Home at 11:00 AM. Immediately following, a graveside service will be held at Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery at 12:00 PM. All are welcome to attend.
Ms. Collins was born on September 12, 1949, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Mr. Elton Collins and Mrs. Beulah Martin Collins. Rachel was a woman whose heart was as vibrant as the blooms in her flower shop. With a deep love for both nature and her family, she created a haven of beauty and warmth, cultivating joy for everyone who walked through her doors. Rachel's nurturing spirit extended far beyond her business, as she adored her grandchildren, always showering them with love, guidance, and tender care. A lover of animals, she had a gentle soul, always finding joy in the simplest of things. Her kindness touched everyone she met, and her life was a testament to the power of love, family, and simple pleasures. Rachel was a beacon of warmth, someone who found happiness in her loved ones and cherished every moment spent with them.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Collins was preceded in death by her loving partner of 57 years, Andrew Jackson "Jack" Cameron III; son, Franklin Tim Johnson; daughter, Latralia "Tracy" Johnson
Left to cherish Ms. Collins' memory are her daughters, Darlene Johnson, Audreia Cameron; grandchildren, Chip Dunn, Coty Collins, Cece Johnson, Jeremy (Crissy) Dunn, Dominick Cameron-Woodard, Baely (Lacey) Cameron-Woodard, Devon Cameron-Woodard; great grandchild, Blake Cameron-Woodard.
