Phyllis Tomberlin,60, of Macon, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. The
family will greet friends from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Saturday October 17, 2020 at
FairHaven Funeral Home. Due to COVID-19, social distancing will be in effect and
facemasks will be required. Please enter Fairhaven through the double doors
on the east side of the building.
Phyllis was born on March 29, 1960 in Macon, Georgia. She was a hair stylist in
Macon for many years. She graduated from Southwest Highschool in Macon. The
beach was her sanctuary.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her father Willie Frank Tomerlin, her mother
Lucretia Dowdy Tomberlin, two brothers, James Franklin Tomberlin and Harry
Warren Tomberlin.
Phyllis is survived by her children Donald Warren Hinson (Macon), Mindi Marie
Ratterree (Lizella), Samuel Scott Taylor Jr.-Taylor Taylor (Lizella), one brother
George Donald Tomberlin (Macon), Rhoda Tomberlin Foster (Macon) and five
children Trinity, Tristian, Trenton, Levi, and Luke.
