Peggy Lindsey

Peggy Evans Lindsey, 73, of Macon, Georgia, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017. A graduate of McEvoy High School, Peggy went on to work at several companies in Macon including WNEX radio and WMAZ radio and TV where she was an award-winning copywriter and voice-over specialist. She was a very creative person who enjoyed writing, painting, and crafting.
Peggy was preceded in death by her father, Frank Evans, and brother, Gary F. Evans. She is survived by her mother, Lucille Clance Jones, of Macon; sister, Cheryl Dalton of Macon; daughter, Colicia Hanson (Vince Cunard) of Atlanta; son, Shane Lindsey (fiancé Kelly Segrest), of Milledgeville; and grandchildren, Andi Cunard, Alex Cunard, Evianna Lindsey, and Ilyssa Lindsey.
The family will greet friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon, Georgia.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Rescue Mission of Middle Georgia, Heifer International, or a charity of your choice.
