Paul Edwards

Reverend Paul Donald (Donnie) Edwards, Sr., 66, peacefully went home to greet his Savior surrounded by his family on June 8, 2017. Donnie was a faithful member of Lizella Baptist Church. He cherished his beloved wife and soulmate, Sharon, his children, Traci, Rusty, Brad, and Apryl, his granddaughters, Cameron "Sweetpea" and Kaleigh "Sweet Sweet", and his "little girl", Pickles. He enjoyed fishing, listening to gospel music, Nascar, traveling, gardening, baking, and spending time with his family.
Donnie spent his life serving others during his ministry, and as a volunteer with the American Red Cross. He joined his mother, father, grandparents, and sister in Heaven and is waiting to greet and be reunited with his wife, children, grandchildren, sister, and nieces and nephews when Jesus calls them Home.
A celebration of Donnie's life will be held at 11:00 on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, with the Reverend Chris Minton officiating. Graveside services will follow at Avondale Baptist Church.
