Patsy Lucille Touchton Atkinson, age 76, passed away at her home on Sunday, June 19, 2022. No services are scheduled at this time.
Patsy was born in Byron, Georgia on Wednesday, November 28, 1945 to the late John Henry Touchton and Leslie Lucille Taylor Schrimpshire. She was an exceptional seamstress and made drapes for prominent members of Central Georgia including the Hay House and past President Jimmy Carter's home. Patsy was known as a good mother and "grandma." She is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Perry Atkinson; son, Tracy Atkinson; and brother, Lang Touchton.
Patsy is survived by her sons, Travis Atkinson (LeAnne), Troy Atkinson (Michelle); brother, Wayne Touchton; grandchildren, Tyler, Justin, Dylan, Jessie, Luke, Taylor; and great-grandchild, Carson.
