Patricia Diane Scogin, a beloved mother, grandmother, and advocate, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 10th, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on Wednesday, September 20th, 1950, in Macon, GA, Patricia spent her life nurturing her family and fighting for the rights of others. She resided in Warner Robins, GA, where she was a cherished member of the community.

Patricia was a devoted homemaker, dedicating her life to her family and home. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her family, as she was a passionate advocate for the disabled. Her commitment to this cause took her all the way to Washington, where she fought tirelessly for the rights of people with disabilities. Her efforts were fueled by her strong faith and her belief in the dignity and worth of every individual.

A woman of deep faith, Patricia attended the First Baptist Church in Byron, where she formed many lasting friendships. Her inspirational nature and unwavering faith touched the lives of all who knew her. Patricia's love for her family was evident in every aspect of her life, and she took great joy in spending time with her loved ones.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Lakishia Marshall, her sister-in-law, Nancy Scogin, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, James Edwin Scogin, Sr., her mother, Mary Ann Douglas, and her brothers, Stephen and James Scogin.
