Patricia Reid

November 13, 1934 — January 25, 2015

Patricia Durden Reid, 80 passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon on Wednesday, January 28, 2105 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

Mrs. Reid lived in Macon all her life. She attended Fort Hawkins and Miller High School. She was retired from Bell South and was a member of the Pioneers Club.

A devoted and loving mother and grandmother, she had a great passion for children; who all called her "Granny". She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Bolingbroke, Ga.

A widow of William E. Reid, she is survived by her four children, Patricia Ann Rackley of Cocoa Beach, Florida; Deborah Leigh Reid of Macon, Ga.; William Eugene Reid of Mt. Airy, Ga. and George Robert Reid of Byron, Ga. Other survivors include ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and a sister, Mary Smith of Eastanollee, Ga. Several nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be sadly missed by all.
