Ollie Hall Sanders "Nanny", 91, of Lizella passed away peacefully at her home, Wednesday, May 13, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. The family will greet friends Friday, May 15 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, May 16, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon. Burial will be immediately following in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Reverend John Wesley Long IV will officiate.
Born in Birmingham, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Hall and Myrtle Brown Hall. Mrs. Ollie was the widow of the late John Wesley Long, Jr., and the late John T. Sanders, Sr. She is survived by her son, John Wesley Long III (Denice) of Yatesville, Georgia, daughter Shirley Hamilton of Lizella, Georgia, sister Catherine Harris of Macon, Four Grandchildren and Three Great Grandchildren.
