Natalie Wood Faircloth, a cherished resident of Macon, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 5th, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on June 1st, 1948, in Macon, Natalie spent her entire life in the community she loved so dearly.
A proud 1966 graduate of McEvoy High School, Natalie went on to become a dedicated Office Manager at Faircloth Plumbing, where she worked until her retirement. Her commitment to her work was matched by her devotion to her community and faith. Natalie was an active member of the Light House Sunday School Class, where she found joy in sending greeting cards to missionaries, spreading love and encouragement far and wide.
Natalie's heart was full of love for her family. She is survived by her former husband, Earl Faircloth, and their children: Preston Faircloth (Jinesa), Cheri Arnold (Craig), and Fred Faircloth (Donna) of Lizella, GA. Her legacy continues through her beloved grandchildren: Trey, Jeremy (Leah), and Brandon (Kenzie) Faircloth along with Robert and Jacob Arnold. Natalie also leaves behind her dear pet, Buddy, who brought her immense joy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Irving Wood and Sarah Odell Richardson Wood, as well as her brother, Richard Irving Wood.
Natalie's life will be celebrated with a funeral service at the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home in Macon, GA, on Monday, August 10th, 2026, at 3:00 pm. Friends and family are invited to gather for a visitation at FairHaven Funeral Home on the same day from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
Flowers are accepted and donations may be made to the Warner Robins Christian Academy, 2601 Watson Boulevard, Warner Robins, Georgia 31093, in honor of Natalie's dedication to education and her volunteer work at the academy.
Natalie Wood Faircloth will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
