Myrtis Green

Myrtis Alti "M.A." Green, Jr. of Macon, Georgia went to his heavenly home on May 15, 2018. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 18, 2018 in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will have a time of visitation on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
He was born September 8, 1943 to Myrtis and Lillie Mae Green. He was a graduate of Willingham High School, managed Pelican Food Store for 20+ years and Pop's Break Truck for several years after. He was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.
He is survived by: his wife of 55 years Sandra West Green; his daughter Kim (Keith) Anglin; his son M.A. (Beverly) Green III; Grandchildren: Amber (Joseph) Bostic, Justin Anglin of Byron; Kayla (Austin) Chambers of Byron; Julie (Emmalee) Tarpley of Warner Robins; and Cody Green of Macon; great-grandchildren: Dawson and Cooper Bostic; Kobe, Noah, Marilynn and Wyatt Chambers, Camden Glass; a brother Allan Green; two sisters: Myrtie Nipper and Esther Blume.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; brothers: Curtis, Harry, Wilburn, James T. Green; a sister Zelma Byrd; and four nephews.
The family will graciously accept flowers or donations may be made in M.A.'s honor to Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.
