Miriam Percival Sanders, 91, of Eatonton, Georgia went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, November 25, 2016. A celebration of her life will be held in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. with interment to follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. Donnie Sutton will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation on Tuesday, from 2:00 p.m. till service time in the funeral home.
Miriam was born in Columbia County, Georgia to the late George Douglas Percival and Emmie Pearson Percival on June 15, 1925. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church at Lake Sinclair and loved teaching boys and girls about Jesus and did so for 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Randall Sanders, her son, Ira Gary Epps and Billy Randall Sanders, Jr.
Miriam is survived by her son, Emory Epps (Mina) of Alma, Ga.; daughter, Karen Monroe (Larry) of Lizella, Ga.; grandchildren, Emory Epps Jr.(Tiffani) of Douglasville, Ga.; Bill Epps(Crystal) of Alma, Ga.; Brooke Jernigan(Hugh) of Enigma, Ga.; Allyson Morton(Jeff) of Shady Dale, Ga.; Great grandchildren, Trey Epps, Kinsey Epps, Cheyenne Harper, Rep Morton, Elodie Morton, Bentley Jernigan, and Eden Epps.
The family would like to express their deep appreciation to Baptist Village, Bolingreen Nursing Home and Heartland Hospice for their loving care of their mother.
