Miriam Dumas

Miriam Elizabeth (Green) Dumas, 87, of Warner Robins, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 21, 2023. The family will have a time of visitation to greet friends on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home. Immediately following, Mrs. Dumas will be entombed in the mausoleum at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Linda Touchton will officiate.

Mrs. Dumas was born on February 22, 1936 in Quitman, Georgia. Mrs. Dumas was an extremely hard worker all her life. She began her career as a carhop at Westend Resturant. She went on to work at several other places, including Union Elementary, where she was a volunteer and substitute teacher. She ended her career as a tax preparer for H&R Block. In her free time, she loved to crochet along with other arts and crafts. Mrs. Dumas also enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers, reading romance novels, a good joke and cup of coffee. She loved her family dearly, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Dumas was preceded in death by her loving husband; Harold Dumas. Children; Jerry Dumas, Janet Stokes, and Tommy Dumas. Grandchildren; TC Dumas, and DJ McInturff, as well as her mother; Ruby Green and her grandmother whom raised her; Hettie Green.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving family. Her children; Marilyn Noon, Melonie McGouirk (Patrick) and Christy Dumas. Grandchildren; Shaun Bryant, Rachael Dumas, Randi Dumas, Ryan Dumas, Alex Noon, Amber McInturff and Zachary McInturff as well as numerous great grandchildren.
