Minnie Elsie Highsmith, 87, of Byron, Georgia passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the Crossroads Cemetery, Crawford County. Dr. Mark Grinstead will officiate. The family will visit after the service at the graveside.
Born in Fort Valley, She was the daughter of the late Berry Dixon and Dovie Lou Moye. She was the widow of Percy Highsmith and a homemaker.
She is survived by her children, Alex Dyer(Pam), Betty S. Moye(Kerry), Sharon Granade(Wayne), and Danny Highsmith(Deborah), Siblings, Lewis Moye(Wanda), Dovie Jean Brown and Corrine Davis(Brad); Eight grandchildren, Twenty great grandchildren.
