Michele Melvin

Michele Faith Melvin, 58, of Byron, passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 20, 2023. The family will have a time of visitation on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will begin at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of FairHaven.
Michele was born on May 4, 1964 in Macon to the late Russell and Ann Hedgepeth. She worked the majority of her life for the United States Post Office and was most recently working as a clerk. In her free time she loved going out to eat with her friends and spending time with her family. She loved them more than anything.
Michele was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband of 36 years; Danny Melvin, Sr.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family. Her son; Danny Melvin, Jr. (Melissa) and daughter; Haley Melvin (Jake). One granddaughter on the way; Adeline Jeanette Melvin and two siblings; Teresa Weldon and Marc Hedgepeth.
