Michaela "Kaylee" Ashley Watts, 32, of Roberta, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, March 18, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home. Immediately following, Michaela will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery.

Michaela was born on July 3, 1991, in Macon, Georgia. She danced through existence with an unwavering passion for music, losing herself in the rhythm of melodies that echoed her vibrant spirit. Books were Michaela's cherished companions, guiding her through countless adventures and igniting her imagination with each turn of the page. Her wanderlust led her on many travels, but it was her journey to England that held a special place in her heart. Michaela remained grounded in her unfaltering kindness, touching the lives of all she encountered with her genuine warmth and infectious smile. Her love knew no bounds, especially for her precious little girl, whom she nurtured with unwavering devotion, embodying the essence of motherhood with grace and tenderness. Though Michaela may have departed this world far too soon, her legacy of love, laughter, and compassion will forever echo in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Michaela was preceded in death by her maw-maw, Sammie Ashley Echols, grandfathers, Michael McMIllan and "Papa Freddie" Pipkin.

Left to cherish Michaela's memory are her daughter, Everleigh Odessa; devoted mama, Samantha McMillan Varner; patient and loving daddy, Rick Varner; sister, Cassidey Varner (Jeremiah), brother, Ricky Varner (Tucker); grandmother, Joella Pipkin; grandfather, Harold Varner; aunt, "Mama Gail" Ashley-Walker (Johnny); uncles, Lee Echols (Maryann), Jerry Ashley (Patricia), and Hank Ashley (Janet); niece, Mallory Lynn; life-long, dedicated friend, Lacie Hodges (Brandon); and numerous extended family members.
