Michael Anthony Mayo, 36, of Macon, Georgia passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024. The family would like to invite friends to join them for a time of fellowship to celebrate his life on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at The Pickled Okra; 35 W Johnston Street Forsyth, Georgia 31220 from 2:00 – 5:00 PM.
Michael was born on May 6, 1988, in Macon, Georgia to Mr. Donald Joe Mayo and Mrs. Kathy Denise Mayo. Michael was a devoted Christian who cherished his family above all else. He was fiercely protective of them, loving them with all his heart. Known for his vibrant personality, Michael had an undeniable ability to light up any room he walked into. His sense of humor and joyful spirit made him the life of every party. To be his friend was a privilege, as he was always generous and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Michael had a passion for cooking, traveling and fishing, enjoying the simple pleasures of life. His warmth, kindness, and unwavering loyalty will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandfathers, Ronald Anthony Redd and Benjamin Ellis Mayo; and his dear four-legged buddy, Bruce.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Kathy Denise Redd and Donald Joe Mayo; sister, Amber Fuller (Seth); niece, Ellie Fuller; maternal grandparents, David and Janice Crook; paternal grandmother, Nancy Phillips; uncles, Levi Crook and Sean Mayo; aunts, Rhonda Cole, Misty Williams and Brandi Mayo.
