Merle Wallace

Merle Annell Barron Wallace, 90, of Macon, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 17, 2022. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. in a private service at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Reverend Ed Chambless officiating.

Merle was born in Dodge County, Ga to the late Clarence Jackson Barron and Magnolia Holland Barron and was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Roy Earl Wallace. She was a member of Mikado Baptist Church and was actively involved in the Gideon Ministry. Merle was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister and is survived by two children, Nancy Mitchell and Randy Wallace, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and sister, Lucile McCook.
