Merideth Mobley Thomas, of Locust Grove, Georgia, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 15th, 2026, at the age of 69. Born in Macon, Georgia on March 5th, 1957, Merideth embodied a life filled with love, devotion, and grace.

Merideth was a retired paralegal from Smith Welch, where she dedicated many years of her life contributing to the legal community with an unmatched work ethic and integrity. Outside of her career, Merideth was a devoted member of her church, First Presbyterian in Jonesboro, Georgia, and a woman deeply rooted in her family values. Loved ones fondly remember her as a dedicated and nurturing "Grandma," who was active in the lives of her grandchildren, joyously participating in their activities and milestones.

She found immense joy in cooking and was notably known for her exceptional baking skills, especially her loved wedding cakes, which became celebrated centerpieces at family gatherings. Her kitchen was always full of laughter and the aroma of her delightful creations.

Merideth is survived by her loving husband of 26 years; her son, Kelly Stefano and his wife Kayla; her daughter, Adriane Anderson and her husband Chris; and her cherished grandchildren: Ella, Judah, Audrey, Karlee, and Jayden, along with her great-grandchild, Aurora. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn Owens, whose memory she honored throughout her life.

A service to celebrate Merideth's life is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, 2026, 1:30 PM at First Presbyterian Church of Jonesboro, 1842 Lake Jodeco Rd, Jonesboro, GA 30236, where family and friends will gather to reminisce, share love, and hold dear the memories of the wonderful life she led.
