Mavis Morgan

Mavis Richardson Morgan, 85, of Ft. Valley, Georgia passed away Monday, October 1, 2018. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home. The family will have a time of visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Open Bible Tabernacle Baptist Church Cemetery, Lizella, Ga. Reverend Herbert Williams and Reverend Micah Carr will officiate.
Born in Coffee County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Mary Harper Richardson. She was a member of the Open Bible Tabernacle Baptist Church in Lizella and a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Leroy Morgan, Children, Michael L. Morgan (Denice) and Marsha L. Harper (Dwight), Brothers, Mickey Richardson, George Richardson(Gwen), Larry Richardson(Marilyn), David Richardson(Dell); Sisters, Diane Smith, Linda Vickers(Robert), Renee Spivey (Ronnie), Evelyn Bargainier (Bob), Hazel Green, Millie Jo Hobbs(Lynn). Four grandchildren, and Nine great grandchildren.
