Maver Davis

Angels took our Mother, Maver Angeline Hayes Davis, 75, of Macon, Georgia away peacefully on the morning of Wednesday, March 8, 2017. Today there is no more suffering. Funeral services will be private.
Mrs. Davis was the daughter of the late Loudon Hayes and Espy D. Shaw Hayes. She was the co-owner of the Westgate Texaco and U-Haul with her husband. She was a licensed nurse and a licensed pilot. To her family she was everything. Not only was she was a loving wife, mother and the best southern cook but she was a great friend and business woman. The greatest gift we could have received is our mother; she was the best friend you could ask for. She was our everything! She loved her family fiercely; like a momma bear she would protect and care for her young. Mom, we will remember you in our hearts and love you forever and a day.
She is survived by The Love of Her Life, her husband of 59 years, Roy E. Davis, whom she loved dearly. Her children: Candy Merritt and Hal Davis, Brother: Kip Hayes, and Sister: Patricia Scherer. And her pride and joy; two grandchildren: Aston and Alex Davis.
