Mary Quackenbush

May Jacqueline Quackenbush 79, of Macon, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018. The family will be holding a small service at a later date in Kentucky where she will be laid to rest by her beloved husband, Barry L Quackenbush.

Jackie was the epitome of a hard worker for the majority of her life. Real Estate was her passion and in the 1970's she owned and operated American Realty which later was named Quackenbush Realty. Even after she retired, Jackie loved talking all things real estate and current affairs with her children. When she wasn't busy working, Jackie enjoyed gardening. She had a green thumb for flowers and vegetables. Jackie would print out every recipe she saw and kept several cookbooks around, but would never get around to cooking the new recipes; she just enjoyed reading them.

Above everything she was a loving wife, mother, and friend to all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory is her three children, Mark, John, and Michelle. Four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
