Mary Mullis

Mary June Chapman Mullis, 91, of Macon, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, November 29, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home. The family will greet friends 30 minutes prior to service time.

Mrs. Mullis was born on June 23, 1932, in Roberta, Georgia, to the late Mr. David Chapman and Mrs. Naomi Chapman. She received her bachelor's in nursing and made a lengthy career working all over Macon, finally retiring from Charter Lake Hospital. Mrs. Mullis loved her family, especially her grandchildren and her fur-babies.

Mrs. Mullis was preceded in death by her husband of 30 plus years, Judson David Mullis, Jr. and daughter, Karol Elaine Johnson.

Mrs. Mullis is survived by her daughter, Karen Mullis Laneback (Paul); five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, Robert Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, the family graciously requests donations be made in Mrs. Mullis' honor to the donor's favorite charity.
