Mary Moseley

Mary Frances Moseley, 83, passed away in the early morning hours of Sunday, May 12, 2024. A Funeral service to honor her life will be held 11 AM Thursday, May 16, 2024, at FairHaven Funeral Home 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Rd. Macon, GA 31216. The family will be accepting visitors 1 hour prior and all are welcome to attend.

Mary was born in Fitzgerald, GA on July 31,1940 to the late John Raymond Peavy and Mary Frances McDonald. Mary Loved her family deeply especially the grandchildren. She had many hobbies and interest; she loved to knit, crochet, and she was an avid reader. She is described as "crafty" frequently painting beach and mountain landscapes. One of her happy places was the beach she would travel to many different ones particularly the west coast; with mountains near by she'd call upon her experiences for inspiration influencing her lovely paintings. When she wasn't painting she could be found watching football cheering for her once alma mater Georgia Bulldogs.

Mary is predeceased by her parents and her brother John Raymond Peavy Jr. Mary is survived by her children; Glenn (Denise) Moseley, Sandra Moseley, Stephanie (Jon) Thompson, Jeff (Beth) Moseley, Sister; Patty (Randy) Walker, and 5 Grandchildren.
