Martha Howard

Martha "Cissy" Ford Howard, 65, passed away June 20, 2019 in Summerville, South Carolina. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Fairhaven Funeral Home from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Service will begin at 11:00 A.M in the chapel of Fairhaven. A Graveside Service will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. A companionship gathering and lunch will be served at Bethel Baptist Church following the burial, all are welcome to join or bring a dish.
Martha was born November 2, 1953, and lived most of her life in Macon, Georgia. As a child she dedicated her life to God and rededicated in 2006. In her young years she graduated from Dalton Junior College in the AD Program of nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse from 1975 until February 2018 where she retired from the Medical Center Navicent Health as a Charge Nurse. After retiring she became a resident of Summerville, SC.
She was preceded in death by her late husband Clayton Phillip Howard.
Martha was a beloved mother, friend, and co-worker who will be truly missed by her brother John Ford, Children; Jason Lake, Joshua Lake, Justin lake, Daughter-in-law; Robyn Lake, Granddaughter; Brittany Benton, and her beloved Schnauzers; Baxter, Shelby, and Bailey.
